The logical response to the question “What have you done since …” is to respond with a list of lifetime accomplishments. The life related subjects I have invested most of my time on are education, vocation, family and church.

I graduated from Minnesota School of Business, Boston’s Northeastern University, but my computer science bachelor’s degree is from the University of West Florida.

My eight years in the U.S. Air Force were an exciting time in my life. I was stationed at Eglin AFB, FL in the spring of 1975 when a large number of Vietnamese refugees arrived at our base. I was selected to be a member of a team dedicated to helping them become part of the American community. One of those individuals would eventually become one of my sister-in-laws. From the Air Force, I then spent the rest of my IT career at Control Data, Northwest Airlines and Compuware Corporation.

I am very blessed to be married to a beautiful woman named Sue. Together, we have five children and eleven grandchildren. We live on a lake and frequently take care of the grandkids. We attend River Valley Church in Apple Valley and our favorite thing to do is take advantage of our lifetime flight benefits from Northwest/Delta. So far, our favorite trip has been to Israel.

Life has been a series of successes, failures and tragedies. In the long run, the most important elements of my life have been, and always will be, God, family and country.
